I grew up on a small dairy farm in Québec
Province, immigrating to the United States in 1963 with my family. My wife Anita and I live in New Hampshire, close to our daughters Nicole and Katherine. My education and career were in computer software. After working for large and small companies alike, I joined a software startup company as co-founder in 1991. Intellisync was sold to Nokia in 2005.
I retired from the software industry in 2001 to pursue other interests. The hobbies that now occupy my time are reflected on this site.
In 2005, I completed and self-published a childhood memoir entitled Little Canuck. I am presently working on a historical novel.
I starting playing guitar at fourteen, but stopped when career took precedence. I started playing again in 2000 under the tutulage of a professional guitarist who taught me classical guitar.
My interests in travel and photography are intertwined. Anita and I enjoy traveling with family and friends several times a year. These trips give me the chance to improve on my photography skills.
