Bill Kane, Author of Journeys Taken and The Brothers and the Sisters:

I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down! For someone from a similar family and from a similar region - it is exceptional in its details. From the "private" fathers to the nuns who punished without any remorse - a French Catholic can associate with each chapter. The funny antics of this young boy made for many a chuckle.

Steel Reader, Amazon Reviewer:

Don't be turned off by the word Autobiography on the back cover. This is not a dull recitation of the life of someone you don't know. It is rather the memoirs of a small boy, reminiscent of the style Frank McCourt used in his bestseller Angela's Ashes. Anyone who grew up anywhere in North America can relate to this story. Much of it brought back fond memories of my own childhood.
